Our progress to reach $590,000
The Moross Greenway Project, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, is an historic collaborative effort of volunteer residents of the City of Detroit and its suburban neighborhoods who have partnered to transform and landscape the seven islands between the I-94 expressway and St. John Hospital. The Project partners include not only the contiguous Eastside communities bordering Moross Road, but also local churches, garden clubs, civic, industrial and commercial organizations who are working together across city and political boundaries to enhance Eastside living.

With a fundraising goal of nearly $600,000, the Project's plan calls for the planting of trees, shrubs and perennials that will provide a sustainable landscape, including native plants and an irrigation system to ensure they will thrive. Learn More
