Our progress to reach $590,000
The Moross Greenway Project, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, is an historic collaborative effort of volunteer residents of the City of Detroit and its suburban neighborhoods who have partnered to transform and landscape the seven islands between the I-94 expressway and St. John Hospital. The Project partners include not only the contiguous Eastside communities bordering Moross Road, but also local churches, garden clubs, civic, industrial and commercial organizations who are working together across city and political boundaries to enhance Eastside living.

With groundbreaking in October 2015, the Project has planted 115 trees, 500 shrubs and 9,700 perennials providing a sustainable landscape including many native plants. Learn More
